Responsibilities:
- Owns the process of gathering requirements on project delivery teams & driving to success
- Uses documentation tools to clearly outline project scope, timeline & requirements
- Works with business users to identify opportunities to improve business systems & processes
- Provides Subject Matter Expertise for the project team on the needs of the client from a business perspective
- Defines the tailored approach for Requirements Management on an individual project
- Lead the creation of all Requirements Documentation, including: Business Requirements Document (BRD), Detailed Functional Requirements (ex: Use Cases), Process Flows
- Lead requirements elicitation sessions with stakeholders, business suppliers & project team members
- Estimate the work effort required to develop the Requirements for a given project
- Reports progress, issues & risks to the assigned Project Manager
Required Skills:
- 2-5 years of relevant experience working as a Business Analyst
- Candidates should have experience working in an Agile (Scrum) environment
- Experience leading requirements elicitation sessions
- General Facilitation skills
- Experience in a consulting environment a strong plus
- Experience writing Business Requirement & Functional Specification documents
- Use Case Development
- MS Office Suite
- Strong Client-facing/Management skills
- Capability to develop project plans & schedules for requirements based projects
- Ability to identify, analyze & design processes to support business process improvement & interactive marketing strategies
- Ability to develop advanced strategies for gathering, documenting & reviewing requirements or highly complex initiatives
- Understand techniques for dealing with requirement changes & their impact on testing & product quality
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or other technical major required
